Thanks Marc.
No worries. Would love to hear if someone has an idea for a solution or workaround.
Graffx Design 6. Is the menu call on all templates the same? Or do you use some old IF plugin? How does te nav snippet looks like. Is the nav in the source on the pages where its not visible?
Good questions, thanks Marc. You got me thinking,.. I worked out that the issue was only on one particular template (but the main system default used on most pages of the site) and found the culprit. It was not related to the header chunk with the logo and nav, but instead the filtering used to display the header in the template.
Evo 3.1.17 does not like this Modifiers call that worked fine in 1.4.15.
[*header-style:is=`header1`:then=`{{header}}`*]
I replaced it with the following IF call and the header is showing as expected
[[if? &is=`[*header-style*]:is:header1` &then=`{{header}}`]]
So 7 is resolved.
Don't mean to hark on about backwards compatibility but if these simple Modifier calls that work in Evo 1.4.15 are breaking in 3.1.17, it could affect a lot of sites and provides another barrier to updating existing 1.4.15 client sites to Evo v3.
Why don't these Modifier calls work in Evo 3.1.17?
[*has-trans-header:is=`yes`:then=` trans-header`:else=` solid-header`*]
[*sticky-header:is=`no`:then=` no-sticky`*]
I see the Enable Filters option does not show for me in 3.1.17 in Configuration > Site anymore... Were filters removed from the v3 Core? Do I have to install Modifiers somehow in Evo 3.1.17?
Many thanks.
#5 the last head scratcher from the original post to go (for now ๐ ).
