Whilst I've been helping @nick0 with his site and user login situation. It appears there are things that have been missed when creating Evo v3.
@Pathologic your MODxAPI code is great and it works wonderfully when it's installed correctly. Unfortunately, if the user doesn't have composer or SSH access to their site with composer then they/we are a little stuffed as to getting v3 working as v1 or v2.
I've been more than happy with Evo over the years and whilst it's been a long learning curve it's been a wonderful challenge to grow with it. Alas though, this move to Laravel is a step beyond my addling mind can manage. The easiest way to describe it is, it's very abstract! Maybe that is just me though.
The one thing I think is missing in v3 FormLister users bit is assigning a newly create user a role?
Is there a snippet parameter to set this when using "Register" as the controller? I tried to figure out how the code all hung together to see if I can find it. I couldn't!
A little help would be greatly appreciated.
