Help with github

I'm not that experienced with github but I think I have successfully pulled any commits from CE into my repo.

The problem I have is I can see I'm 3 commits ahead but I want to get rid of them.

I've tried a few things and git CLI says everything is up to date and clean, yet the 3 commits still show on the web page.

How do I clear the commits? Or is it just wait and they will clear eventually?

BarnsleyBloke If you are 3 commits ahead then these are changes that you did to your repo - you changes some files and so on. If these are meaningful changes and what to propose them to include them in the official CE repo, then you need to do a pull request.

If you want to get rid of those changes (permanently delete them, no way to go back) then you have two options:

You can rewind your repo, but this you need to do on your own computer via the command line: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/42332769/how-do-i-reset-the-git-master-branch-to-the-upstream-branch-in-a-forked-reposito
You can just dele the fork and make a new one, for this you only need to use the web interface on github: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/11302639/delete-forked-repo-from-github

You are 3 commits ahead of origin/master? This means you've got some local commits that arent pushed to the remote. I guess this would help -> https://stackoverflow.com/a/16288283

Thank you @mplavala and @esebob.

I decided to delete and recreate. I had tried some commands but I'm stuck at work and my laptop is better suited for command line trickery.
