Are there any existing plugins to add 2 Factor Authentication (6 digit code to SMS or email) to the manager login page? I can't find anything in Extras or searching so I'm guessing not. If not would anyone be interested in developing this (@Pathologic)?
Hi, yes, 2FA has not been implemented yet. But I have written it down in the plans for future development. Unfortunately, time is running out, but it is already in the plans.
Hey, Yes, MODX already has plugins for two step login, but they mostly use authenticator app like Google Authenticator. Right now, there is no ready plugin that sends a 6 digit code by SMS or email so building one would be useful for many users.
